This is an optional per-conference  workshop, prior to the 4th Annual HCC Best Practices for Proactive Medical Management. A popular session last year, we've brought the workshop back to continue to educate individuals new to HCC coding, as well as others who desire to brush up on their skills.

Serine Haugsness, CPC, CMRS, Coding Analyst, BUCKEYE COMMUNITY HEALTH PLAN

Serine Haugsness, CPC is currently working as Manager of Risk Adjustment at Centene Corporation. She has over 12 years healthcare experience, including coding for a large physician group and managed care with two nationally-known managed care providers. She has been a Certified Professional Coder since 2006. Serine’s extensive risk adjustment experience includes both Medicare and Medicaid, participation in both targeted and national RADV audits, program development, and provider/coder education.
