The Political Landscape and the Future of Health Care: What Role for MA?

Health care is this election year's hot button. While the nation awaits the Supreme Court decision on the constitutionality of ACA provisions, presidential candidates and Congress pontificate on the future of the law and propose sweeping changes to the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Amidst the political controversy, the industry and states are enacting system changes at an unprecedented rate. How will these diverse forces reshape the Medicare program and Medicare Advantage. This session will address:
  • Potential political outcomes and what they could mean for Medicare and MA plans
  • Challenges and Opportunities for MA plans as the marketplace evolves
  • How plans can win in the face of uncertainty
